There’s an explosion centered on the leonin who yelled that

Professor Milhouse power walks over to check it out for science

Bammon tells Crawn to wrustle up

Coal-Foot Flint is covered in soot with a clearly broken leg

“The bastards, they took Slate! They went off, to the west!”

Coal continues screaming about how the bastards took his boy

A bunch of people are running around asking where other people are going to look

Bammon takes a look to the west…but maybe that’s just what the cultists WANT us to think

Ell notices that Coal has a scrap of white robe from the cultists

Ell turns into a mastiff dog and sniffs out the cultists’ trail

Ell turns to Bammon, raises his bushy dog eyebrows, and says, “Woof,” then starts tracking

Bammon tells everyone to follow that dog

Drex was a field medic and stays behind to patch up Coal

On the way, Bammon notices something in an alleyway and has Milhouse go with him to check it out while Crawn and Ell continue

Bammon and Milhouse do stuff but lose track of whoever was there

Crawn realizes that she and Ell have been going in circles

Crawn asks if Ell is sure they’re on the right path

Ell, currently a dog, says, “Ruff. Ruff.”

Crawn spots a ladder and climbs it while carrying Ell

Ell smells something suspicious and starts growling

Crawn also noticed something sus and manages to not be surprised when the ladder falls

Bammon and Milhouse come upon Crawn dangling from a roof with white hooded people on it

COMBAT

We save Coal and one cultist is left alive for questioning

The cultist is deliberately distracting us for as long as he can

We stop walking and go through his bag, finding a note that instructs him to distract us

We return to the docks, where Coal rushes forward to grab his nephew

We tell Coal the cultist was trying to distract us. For what?

The explosion looks like it happened towards the south, at Tedrick’s house

Then there are four more explosions from all over the city, including the castle

Milhouse had told us that the cultists were meeting up at Tedrick’s

Bammon tells Milhouse to take the cultist to the dock guards and also warn them
