Once a blinkdog puppy, Zup was tormented and tortured by members of the Cult of the White Noose as they attempted to convert him into a Harrow Hound that would be obedient to their order. He was saved before the transformation was fully complete, but not before he had become afflicted with undeath. As a Harrow Pup, his powers are not as powerful as those of a proper Harrow Hound, and he is quite timid.
