+*Burial* - The body is prepared so that it is laying straight with all limbs tightly at it's side, aside from the right arm which is bent at the elbow over the chest. The right hand is formed into a fist in the center of the chest with a small ferrous rod, such as a nail, held inside the hand. If the corpse is missing their right hand, the left may be used instead, and in the event that no hands are available a bird's claw is acquired and arranged to grip the ferrous rod as it is placed on the center of the chest in line with the body.

While not required, it is considered a sign of Varunak's favor and blessing if the body is struck by lightning.
