 South of the desserts of [[Zimeck]] lie even more desolate deserts leading to the foothills of a steep and towering mountain range coiled along the shore. The mountains themselves are considered cursed, and between the harsh rocky inclines and the dessert, along with the swampy coastline south and east of the mountain range, the area is sparsely populated save for nomads who scale the mountains and the foothills in search of rare gems and fossils. There is one permanent settlement, [[Nephivetra]], on the south eastern side of the mountain range located on the shores of the Kirakiz River, where good stolen from caravans, ships, and other black market items are regularly traded.
