- We decide we're going to let [[Drex]] captain the commandeered ship, and split our crew up between the two ships
	- I tell the crew from [[Kamangara]] that as long as they behave, we'll drop them off at a nearby fishing village unharmed
	- Meanwhile, [[Milhouse]] starts studying the cannons
		- They're magical in some capacity
			- I find some runes that indicate they may be tied to [[The Kraken]] in some way
				- I show those runes to [[Milhouse]] and he suggests we shouldn't give these cannons to anyone, since they could be a trap or something
					- We have [[Avercrumbie]] inspect them too
						- He confirms that the cannons are essentially trapped
							- The larger one is rigged to self-destruct / explode, while the smaller one we're unsure about -- but [[Avercrumbie]] has a bad feeling about it
- After we dropped off the crew, we get attacked by the escort ship that we had hoped to avoid
	- We have [[Drex]] continue running with the cargo ship, while we stay back to try to fight them off
		- We're alerted to their approach by cannon fire, and a ballista bolt hitting the hull
- We engage them, and manage to cut them off as we exchange cannon fire
	- We manage to do extensive damage to them in the opening volley
		- They turn to try to run, firing at us but missing
			- We manage to get along behind them and fire more cannons, nearly destroying them
				- They try to fire another ballista at us, missing again
					- We finish them off, since soldiers from [[Kamangara]] are known for not surrendering
- We catch up to the cargo ship, where the crew tells us that [[Drex]] has passed out. Again.
	- We continue on our way back to [[Hikou]]
	- [[Milhouse]] and [[Ell]] come up during our victory celebration with a barrel and ask people to look inside
		- There is an albino rat inside
			- [[Milhouse]] is very upset, he seems to think it's something else, something weird from another plane
				- [[Ell]] says he chased the rat when he saw it, it bit [[Avercrumbie]] whose hand then turned black and oozey similar to the creature we found floating in the water
					- I use Divine Sense, and it does read as undead
						- We move it to a jar for the time being, and [[Milhouse]] is going to study it for as long as he's able
- Suddenly, [[Snagclaw]] gets pulled off the deck by a giant tentacle
	- [[Crawn]] shoots at the tentacle, and I dive overboard to try to save [[Snagclaw]]
		- We manage to get him out, but he seems like he might be infected with something unnatural
			- [[Fish-Kicker]] and I treat him, I cast Purge Contamination on him
				- A bunch of starfish looking creatures start to make their way out of his throat and mouth
					- The crew starts killing them, they seem to leave a pink mist around when they die
- [[Snagclaw]] goes and throws up over the edge, then points and asks "What's that?"
	- I look, and see that there is wreckage in the sea, and one piece has someone clinging onto it
		- As we get closer, and get ready to attack it in case this is another trap, we notice that it's an orca person
			- [[Crawn]] thinks she recognizes him, and [[Milhouse]] communicates telepathically with him to get his name
				- His name is [[Marn]]
					-  We bring him aboard, and notice his eyes are missing
						- He claims he is not working with [[The Kraken]]
- [[Crawn]] asks him what he's doing here
	- Apparently he was helping sail a ship, but they hit something
		- He doesn't remember how he lost his eyes?!
			- [[Crawn]] seems to want to avoid her family, as [[Marn]] mentions having been sent by [[Crawn]]'s mom
- [[Crawn]] decides she's not willing to risk [[Marn]] telling anyone that he ran into her, so she kills him
	- Once she throws his body overboard, the pink mist seems to clear up
- We make it back to [[Hikou]]
	-
