- We start investigating the pit
	- We hear a muffled scream coming from the northeast, it sounds like it is coming from a child
		- [[Drex]] goes into the closed room first, and calls out that there are cultists in there along with a child
	- We start fighting the first two cultists, one of them runs for reinforcements
		- I have [[Fish-Kicker]] escort the kid to safety as we kill the one who didn't run
			- The kid calls to us that his friend is down the hallway with other cultists, and for us to please save them too
		- [[Milhouse]] has been invisible, then shoots a flame-thrower down the hallway at the reinforcements
			- [[Ell]] had cast entangle there too, so this worked very well
				- The cultists are calling to each other to not let us get to the altar
				- We continue fighting them, with [[Milhouse]] making his way into the next room and protecting the other kid
					- A few of the cultists start killing themselves to try to hurt us with their death AoE
						- We eventually finish off the cultists
- We saw one of the cultists run through a doorway to the north
	- We heal ourselves up a bit, and then follow
		- We see a brief flash of some horrific creature surface from the water in the room, then [[Milhouse]] calls out that the cultist who went that way is dead
			- The creature seems to be guarding the altar
				- We explore some more, and find other rooms with other creatures in them
					- We decide to take a short rest before proceeding
- We manage to sneak past the creature in one of the rooms, and find a strange room with what looks sort of like an altar
	- We find a room with several statues, and a teleportation circle
		- There is a giant statue in the back of the room with blood around its mouth, and a dead body nearby
			- The dead cultist looks to have been killed by one of the creatures, but was reaching his hand into the mouth of the statue
				- I notice a handle in the back of the mouth, along with a lot of blades
					- I carefully reach in and touch the handle
						- I hear a voice in my head, asking if I am willing to sacrifice for its gifts
							- It sounds like the voice of [[The Kraken]]
								- I take my hand away
			- [[Milhouse]] steps up and offers to make the sacrifice
				- He says he wants to learn more about [[The Kraken]], and he's willing to sacrifice anything to do what we need to
					- Says he's already lost a lot
					- He asks if I would be willing to sacrifice the life of another to kill [[The Kraken]]
					- I tell him to go ahead and reach in
						- My plan is to use Zone of Truth to make sure he's still [[Milhouse]] 
- [[Milhouse]] Has the majority of his right forearm cut off by the statue
	- He's able to keep himself composed, and steps into the room behind the statue
		- There is a strange mechanical arm hovering, and [[Milhouse]] seems compelled to put his stump into it
			- He's able to use it as a new arm
