**Session 6 - 3/20/2024**

We manage to steer out of all the flaming ship debris

We find no survivors; some bodies have rather shiny items on them and also have something clinging to the underside 
of them, puppeting them

Ell points the corpses out to the Captain and makes a marionette gesture

Ell, “Mm-hmm. It’s a trap.”

Bammon tells Crawn to inform the crew not to try to save any of those poor souls

We make it to our destination but spend the night in the bay

Fish-Kicker notices rhythmic repeated croaking during first watch; he thinks it’s a tree frog

During Ell’s watch, at first he thinks he hears frogs, but then he realizes it’s not frogs– He hears a stone 
grinding against another stone; when he looks towards the noise on the shore, he thinks he sees a pair of eyes, 
metallic green dots just staring, occasionally blinking; as he watches, one of them goes up to the left and the 
other goes down into the right; the croaking stops

A shiver runs down his spine as he feels someone breathing behind him

He reflexively punches it

He sees a picture of himself, stunned, then he blinks and it’s gone

Ell moves around the deck trying to find someone to get the captain, while keeping his eyes on the shore

Avercrumbie is awake and asks if Ell’s ok

Ell tells Avercrumbie to go get the captain

Avercrumbie goes to wake Bammon, but first hands him a handkerchief for his nosebleed

Bammon comes up and Ell explains everything he saw and felt

Bammon agrees that it’s very strange but if there’s nothing else right now, he’s going to go back to bed; wake him 
up if anything happens

Ell asks Avercrumbie to grab a couple other crew members; he explains everything to them too

Bammon and Milhouse come up for fourth shift

Milhouse doesn't want to keep watch XD

Ell tries to bait Milhouse with the night eyes mystery but Milhouse isn’t interested

Milhouse shares some very interesting theories about the god of undeath, killing gods, and a variety of other 
random tidbits

The rest of the watch is uneventful

During the night, Crawn and Fish-Kicker feel like they’re pinned down to their beds; they see a dark figure with 
one metallic green eye looking down at them

In the morning, the PCs, Avercrumbie, and three other NPCs take a boat to shore

After rowing to shore, we find a MASSIVE crater and a bunch of houses still on fire

Bammon and Crawn investigate the first building; there is blood dripping from the upstairs ceiling

There are several skinned bodies hanging from meat hooks, including one orca

There are glowing runes on the ground

Crawn’s “boss” wants her to lick the orca corpse

Milhouse is called to examine the runes and bodies

Milhouse tells Bammon the ritual circle was related to Sebasha’s Law of Equivalent Exchange

Milhouse notices that the non-burning houses appear to have been smashed by catapult fire

Crawn notices some feathers sticking out from under the house rubble

Crawn pokes around the feathers and suddenly there is an EXPLOSION of movement

A shrill voice yells, “FIENDS!!!” and smacks her upside the head with a chair

Crawn tries to explain we’re not fiends but the bird person doesn’t believe it

Bammon actually kinda remembers the bird, who claims he’s Captain Riven Acciperan of the Binsogim Council

Riven recognizes Avercrumbie!

Riven tells us there were cultists and ruffians here all fighting for loot; he heard some chanting and then got 
knocked out, waking up to Crawn standing over him

Riven had some friends who were supposed to meet up with him here

Milhouse and Fish-Kicker investigate a still-burning house but find nothing

Bammon and Crawn investigate another house, but this one seems quite clean; upstairs they find some sleeping bags, 
downstairs are crates of food supplies

There are runes linked to the first set of runes, and also another link pointing East

They find a few corpses, including another orca

Bammon finds that the runes are still prepared and waiting to be activated; we should be careful


**MIGRAINE TIME**

I don’t know what happened after this point, except that we fought a massive tentacle-y monster we called Ted

Ell killed Ted after he had the audacity to hurt my boy Avercrumbie

Milhouse collects a Ted tentacle

As we sail away, there are no burning ships to be found
